Location
The Koukoumi Hotel is situated just four miles from the airport making it easily accessable by taxi or the hotels own shuttle bus service. Mykonos town is also a similar distance away so you will need to use taxis or hire a car from the hotel reception.
Car hire is a great option in Mykonos as taxis are quite scarce. It gives you the opportunity to drive to some of the islands many beaches or up in to the mountain to experience traditional, Mykonian culture.
Driving in Mykonos is relatively easy as there are not too many cars on the road and a lot of them are tourist rentals. There is parking at the top of Mykonos town making Little Venice and the towns boutique restaurants and cocktail bars easily accessable.
When it comes to beaches, you are spoilt for choice. Kalo Livadi beach is only a ten minute walk from the hotel and within twenty minutes, you have access to Loulos Beach, Agia Anna Beach and Kalafatis Beach. Slightly further away but still within walking distance is Karapetis Beach.
